Ideas Foundation Receives Employer Partnership Excellence Award from The Manchester College
Ideas Foundation is proud to have received a Certificate of Recognition for Employer Partnership Excellence in Creative Media from The Manchester College, recognising ten years of partnership connecting students with industry and creative career opportunities.
Over the past decade, Ideas Foundation has worked with The Manchester College to bridge the gap between education and industry, bringing leading employers, agencies and creatives into the classroom through mentoring, masterclasses, industry briefs, networking and employability programmes.
Through the partnership, students have engaged with organisations including BBC, ITV, Canon and Pantene, gaining valuable insight into the creative industries while employers have had the opportunity to connect with emerging talent and help shape the future workforce.
Most recently, students took part in employability bootcamps in TV & Film, Games Design and Animation, working alongside industry professionals to develop their skills, confidence and understanding of creative careers.
This award celebrates the power of long-term collaboration between education and industry, demonstrating what can be achieved when organisations invest in developing the next generation of creative talent.
Helen Poole, Executive Director of Ideas Foundation, said:
“We are delighted to receive this recognition from The Manchester College. For ten years, we have worked together to create meaningful opportunities for young people while helping employers build connections with emerging talent. We look forward to continuing this partnership and supporting the next generation of creative professionals.”
As Ideas Foundation celebrates this milestone, we remain committed to supporting the next generation of creative talent and helping young people discover the opportunities available to them within the creative industries.
We would like to thank The Manchester College, its staff, students, industry partners and mentors who have contributed to the success of the programme over the last ten years.
