Say hello to Future Creatives, our new progression scheme

For those of you who have worked on an Ideas Foundation project, you’ll probably know about our brilliant progression scheme, The Ladder. We’ve visited agencies, worked on live briefs, generally had fun and learnt lots. But like all good things, it must come to an end.

However, with all endings comes a new beginning! Say hello to Future Creatives.

Launching on Monday 5th November, it’s THE scheme to open up doors to creative careers.

So whether you’re an Ideas Foundation veteran or you’ve only just found us, read on to find out more.

THE BRIGHTEST IDEAS DON’T COME FROM ONE PLACE. OR ONE TYPE OF PERSON.

Have you enjoyed being part of a creative experience with Ideas Foundation?  Do you want the opportunity to tackle more briefs and develop more ideas? Do you want to know more about careers in the creative industry and build your network?

JOIN THE FUTURE CREATIVES COMMUNITY.THE PLACE TO EXPLORE & EXPERIENCE CAREERS IN THE CREATIVE INDUSTRIES.

The creative industries are made up of a wonderful mix of artists, writers, entrepreneurs, designers, filmmakers, project managers, marketers and strategists: thinkers and dreamers who are like-minded in spirit, but completely individual in the work they do.

And we think you’ll fit right in.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never thought about a creative career. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never met anyone who works in the industry. All that matters is that you have ideas, and you’re ready to see what you can do with them.

The Future Creatives community will help you think bigger.

Being part of this community will open the door to opportunities that you may not have thought possible.  Each year we work with 300 young people to offer them unique experiences, including;

  • Access to a calendar of creative workshops per year hosted by mentors from within the industry.
  • An exclusive workshop at the Museum of Brands.
  • Access to two-day and five-day creative media camps where you will work on a real-life brand briefs.
  • Regular communications including hints, tips & opportunities to build your creative skills.
  • Access to an end of year party & creative showcase.

    How do I join?

If you want to be part of this unique community, you must have taken part in an Ideas Foundation project before. If you’re currently on our mailing list we’ll send you an email when sign ups open. If you’re not on our mailing list please contact ideas@ideasfoundation.org.uk for more details.
