Co-op Academy’s Year 9 Dance Group have worked with the Artist in Residence all year to develop their dance knowledge and skills while working towards the Bronze Arts Award. As part of the project, they have worked with choreographer Mason Jubb to create BREAK FREE. Pupils created solo movement and duets based on their own inspired places such as the beach or the park. The piece was filmed and edited by Wayne Sables.

8BG1 from Ruth Gorse Academy worked in person with the Artist in Residence for 3 weeks to develop their movement skills before having just two sessions with choreographer Mason Jubb. The pupils created FLIGHT from movement they learnt and developed in large groups. The pupils put their own individual flair on taught movement with a focus on flow and space.
