Ideas Foundation awarded Creative Floor Talent Fund 2026
Ideas Foundation is delighted to have been awarded funding through the Creative Floor Talent Fund 2026, recognising our ongoing work to open up the creative industries to young people from under-represented backgrounds.
The Talent Fund, awarded by Creative Floor, supports initiatives that increase diversity and access within the creative sector. This year, Ideas Foundation is proud to be funded alongside Brixton Finishing School and Key4Life, organisations that, like us, are committed to widening routes into the industry.
Opening the door to healthcare advertising.
The funding will enable Ideas Foundation to deliver a healthcare communications workshop for young people aged 11–19 from less advantaged backgrounds.
For many of the young people we work with, careers in health and wellness advertising are largely invisible. Without access to industry networks, role models or agency environments, the sector can feel distant and out of reach.
Through this project, students will work on a live healthcare brief, supported by creative professionals, gaining first-hand insight into how campaigns are developed and the role creativity plays in addressing real-world health challenges.
Participants will also have the opportunity to engage directly with industry mentors and experience a creative agency environment, often for the very first time.

A proven approach to developing future talent.
Ideas Foundation has over 20 years’ experience delivering creative programmes that connect young people with industry. Our workshops are designed to replicate real-world creative processes, building both confidence and practical skills.
Our healthcare-focused projects have tackled issues such as mental health, wellbeing, identity and public health awareness, often in collaboration with leading brands, agencies and academic partners.
This track record demonstrates the value of giving young people meaningful, hands-on opportunities to engage with sectors they might not otherwise encounter and the positive impact this can have on their aspirations and future pathways.
Creating meaningful access to the industry.
At a time when the healthcare advertising sector is actively seeking more diverse perspectives, early access to industry experience is critical.
This funding will allow us to reach young people who are currently under-represented in the creative industries and provide them with a clear, tangible introduction to healthcare communications.
For many participants, this will be the moment they first consider a future in the industry.
Thank you.
